The following items should be accepted by phone and collected by drivers:
- Two-seater Sofas (max 1.7m wide), armchairs and three-piece suites – must be clean, have appropriate fire tags and be in reasonable condition without tears or significant staining
- Double (4’6”) and single (3’) divan beds and mattresses, fire tags essential and no damage or staining
- metal and pine bed frames (dismantled)
- Single wardrobes and small double wardrobes (max 1m width)
- Small dining tables and/or kitchen tables (max 1.2m length)
- Dining chairs
- Chests of drawers
- Coffee tables
- Bedside cabinets
- Bookcases no taller than 1m
- Double and single duvets, pillows and associated bedding, towels
- Crockery, cutlery and kitchenware
- Washing machines
- Freestanding electric cookers
- Vacuum cleaners
- Small electrical goods, e.g., kettles, toasters and lamps
- Microwave ovens
- Clean rugs
- Clothes airers
The following items will NOT be accepted by phone or collected by drivers:
- Three seat settees and corner units. Settees over 1.7m in width
- Cuddle chairs and love seats
- Room heaters including oil filled radiators, fan heaters, etc.
- Electric blankets
- Electrically operated beds or chairs
- Glass topped tables
- Glass shelving
- Any furniture with glass elements apart from fixed mirrors
- Kitchen or bathroom cupboards, units, cabinets etc.
- Gas cookers.
- All fitted furniture
- All kit furniture
- All furniture which is dismantled (except bed frames) unless
otherwise agreed - Fridges and/or fridge freezers.
- Wall units
- Bookshelves
- Cots and Z Beds
- Curtains and curtain poles
- Blankets, eiderdowns and bedspreads
- Televisions, hi-fi equipment and similar
